philly-shows.org is a community resource from the city of Philadelphia providing event listings and event promotion in a way that facilitates community in the local music scene.
the website attempts to list all music and concert events in one consolidated location. every listing includes the venue, artists, date, time and link to purchase tickets (if applicable).

the design of the website is to gather as much info as possible - but also ask the community to submit information for events that would otherwise be missed.
without your help, some smaller events may be missed by the admin and not available to the community at large.

the goal for the site is for every event to get the same attention and make sure event details are available to the entire community. Big or small, legit or DIY, $50 ticket or $5 at the door -
every listed event receives the same amount of detail and promotion.

philly-shows.org is currently run by two people who mine all concert data, creates all listings, creates daily and weekly social media postings and writes all current editorial content.
